Hello my name is Wynnie (Wyn).
I am a very compassionate, confident, funny and bubbly individual. My most recent job role was in the NHS as a Rehabilitation Support Worker on the stroke unit.
I have worked in the care industry for 8 years. Caring for others is something I’m very very passionate about. I have a very close relationship with my grandparents and great grandparents so I’d know how I’d want them and myself to be treated. I started off in a care home when I was 14 years old as a domestic and care assistant and worked here for two years. I then knew this was the career that I wanted to pursue. As I got older, I went on to work as a support worker for special needs alongside completing my health and social level 2 and 3.
As my confidence and skills developed, I wanted a new venture which was working as a D2A support worker, this job entailed Encouraging vulnerable adults to become or maintain their independence post hospital stays, where I would assess them in their homes and ensure they were safe.
I then began working with the NHS as a rehabilitation support worker, I worked on the stroke unit where I worked alongside physio therapists and occupational therapists to ensure our patients had the best outcome.
I have completed a lot of training through my 8 years and have many certificates in date. My reasoning for starting this new journey as a Micro-Provider is because I had a baby in December 2023 and becoming my own boss was the best option in order for me to see my little girl grow and achieve whilst doing the job I love the most.
