Welcome to the Wellington and Wiveliscombe Neighbourhood Team page. My name is Pete Joint, and I’m the Connect Somerset Champion for Wellington and Wiveliscombe. I work with Wellington Town Council.
Wellington and Wiveliscombe have about 27,200 people living in 11,900 households. Most of the population (97%) is white British. Wellington North is one of the 20% most deprived areas in the country, with some deprivation in Rockwell Green too. Car usage is higher than the national average, with 14% of households having three or more cars, compared to the national average of 9%.
