Introduction

Jobcentre Plus is an employment centre run by the Department for Work and Pensions.

Trained and experienced staff can help you find work that is suitable for you – this could be full time, part time, permanent or temporary work.

The staff at Jobcentre Plus can also advise about benefits and what help and support is available if you cannot work.

Disability Employment Advisers (DEAs)
Specialist staff at the Jobcentre Plus offer help and support on work-related issues faced by people with disabilities and their carers. They can work with you to find information about appropriate job vacancies, matching your knowledge, skills and experiences with vacancies from local employers. They can also give you  information about schemes that can support you into the workplace.

You can find more information about Jobcentre Plus on the GOV.UK website.
