My name is Alison and I have been an accredited Microprovider since July 2022.
Prior to this, I worked as a Registered Nurse at Musgrove Park Hospital, with 15 years of experience in this role.
I enjoy supporting individuals and their families with what is important to them. I enjoy getting to know people and supporting and encouraging them to keep active and independent within their own homes. I enjoy cooking nutritious food for my clients, accompanying them on walks and activities outside of the home as well as the basic fundamentals of living. I believe in person centred care, and working with individuals and their families to enhance and support their lifestyle, adopting an holistic approach.

I like to keep up to date on my knowledge and have recently undertaken a course in understanding dementia and counselling skills. I also keep my nursing registration active at present.
My hobbies include nature and wildlife. I enjoy being outside and believe that there can be great benefit physically and mentally to being in the great outdoors. I enjoy gardening, reading, travel and keeping fit and have a passion for understanding complementary therapies as a adjunct to traditional medicine.
