Accredited Care Provider. Service includes personal care, companionship, light household chores, dog walking, support at mealtimes, medication support, support with attending social activities and support to attend medical appointments.
I have 16 years’ experience in healthcare in varying roles, from health care assistant to senior and management roles. I have 12 years’ experience working in a specialist dementia care home and have worked for the NHS for the past 4 years.
I am passionate about providing professional and high-quality care and support to the people I look after. I understand the importance of helping people to remain in their own homes and it fills me with pride to know that I’m supporting people to do so.
My friends would describe me as friendly, funny, empathetic, emotional and amazing in my work. I am confident that I do my work well and that’s because I work by this rule “Care for people the way I would want my loved ones to be cared for” by doing this I know I’m making a difference, not just to the individual, but to their families, helping them to feel reassured that their loved one is in capable and caring hands.
I provide an enabling and person-centered approach in my delivery of care, the easiest way to care and support someone well is to always include them in their care.
I have great communication skills and good record writing ability.
Times available
Working hours Mon-Thurs 8am – 8pm. Occasional Friday and weekend work, subject to discretion.
