Description
My waking night support is for anyone who feels they may need extra support overnight. It may be that you are still recovering or nervous about being back on your own after a hospital or respite stay. I can help with personal care or mobility issues if required in the night or just be there as a support network. I have experience with Dementia, Parkinsons and many more.
You maybe a family member who is caring for your loved one/friend/partner etc in the day and getting up in the night and realise that you need some sleep too. I can be there while you get your rest. I work from 22.00pm – 7am. I am able to travel but it needs to be within an hours driving of my base in Wellington for safety reasons.
I have end of life care experience and can help take the pressure off you at night so you can be at your best during the day.
I have 23 yrs experience of care work and I am happy to discuss your needs and what you would like from my service. I have worked both days and nights so have seen both ends of the spectrum and my Care Certificate training is updated every year.
I have a Diploma in Health & Social Care, NVQ 2, Care Certificate, Safer Food Handling Certificate, End of Life Level 2, Medication training to name some.
I believe everyone is entitled to first class care and that is what I provide.
My aim is to help you feel safer at home where you are familiar with the environment and surrounded by your beautiful things.
About Me
I adore reading and go no-where without my kindle. I travel abroad on holidays as there is just so much to see, and I love the sun.
I have just taken up sewing and I am really enjoying learning something new and being able to make myself something to wear, although a few disasters have occurred in the process.
I have a family and also grandchildren.
