For all your needs in your home from cleaning to caring for your pets. I will help to assist you with living your life as independently as possible while providing you both physical and emotional support when required. What makes me different? I’m a positive person and always keen and willing always going that extra mile even when it isn’t required. I have excellent communication skills and an attention for detail. Because of my varied job roles, I have dealt with people from all walks of life, my life experience gives me skills to be able to deal with difficult challenges. I have worked voluntarily with children in Playgroups and Primary Schools. I was a mentor at Bishop Foxes Secondary school for 2 years, guiding students with difficulties when leaving school. I ran and organised the Twin Club of Taunton (TAMBA) for which my name was in the local hospital as a point of contact for support for mothers expecting multiple births. I have had twins myself. I am an outgoing person who loves working with people as this brings out my bubbly personality. I have experience in the Care Sector, working as a family Support Worker and Providing Respite care for foster children in Care. I have also worked with semi-independent children with mental health issues and challenging behaviours, working with them to reach their own personal goals. I have worked with the British Red Cross, supporting, guiding and advising Service Users that may be in crisis in their own home and also those that require support when coming home from hospital. The role also includes signposting relevant resources to suit individual needs. I might add that a close member of my family has lived with mental health difficulties most of his life and I have always taken an active part in his care . I have an enhanced DBS check; I’m First aid trained and have full liability insurance.
