Description
I aim to offer a service where you can “Bee Yourself” in the comfort of your own home with your choices, your wishes and your needs at the very centre of your care and support. I have experience as a carer over the years for both of my parents, in a Residential Home, Community Care, Nursing Home and Waking/sleeping Night Assistance (returning home from a hospital stay, palliative respite and just for the reassurance of someone being there).
I can offer companionship, light housework, personal care, dementia care, meal preparation, pet care, reading, activities such as arts and crafts, listening to music or just a good old chat and reminiscing. I have 3 Springer Spaniels, 2 horses and love the countryside.
I take part in mandatory training, I am first aid qualified, trained in Makaton communication and always trying to update skills. I am very happy to cover rural areas surrounding Wellington and will always treat you and/or your loved ones as I would wish to be treated myself.
