Di is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. She has considerable warmth, understanding and empathy. Her work with vulnerable and isolated people means that she is extremely used to dealing with difficult situations and, sometimes, hard to reach people. Nothing ever seems to phase her. She is a great person to have in a crisis as she has a very level and practical head. And, because she has such grant people skills, others warm to her and feel safe and nurtured in her care.
