Hello, my name is Emma, and I would like to tell you a bit about me and the services I can offer you.
I have worked in the Care Industry helping and supporting people like you for over 30 years. I have worked in care homes, supervised and helped people with special needs, and provided private support and care services to individuals on a “1 on 1” basis.
I now work independently as a Micro Services Provider in the Shepton Mallet, Wells and surrounding areas providing services directly to people like you, who need care, but want to lead their own lives in their own home and environment.
I offer a tailored, person-centred care package designed to allow you to live comfortably in your own home.
•I can help you get out of bed and get dressed in the morning.
•I can make your breakfast and get you ready for the day ahead. I can prepare your lunch.
•I can help you with household tasks such as light cleaning duties, laundry and ironing.
•I can provide you with the personal care you need to live a comfortable life at home.
•I can sit with you and talk, watch TV, do puzzles and pass the time of day.
•I can help with correspondence and in making appointments.
•I can look after your pets and take your dogs for a walk.
•I can help you to access your community, take you to clubs, walk with you in the park or just visit your town and do your shopping.
I am available for up to 5 hours a day between 8 o’clock in the morning and 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Mondays to Fridays. We can agree the times to best suit your needs.
My aim will be to help you to stay in your own home and be as independent and as comfortable as you can in everything you do.
I am DBS cleared and fully insured. I have a BTEC First Diploma in Caring and an NVQ 2 in Direct Care.
I have recently taken and passed a series of 26 individual Care Assistant Examinations.
