Hello my name is Minty and I am a self-employed micro provider within the local area. I have experience working and supporting the elderly and individuals with dementia. I have previously supported people within their own homes within the community and in care homes. I have realized this is my passion and have choose to support those in my community through my own business, Empathy lead care.
Empathy is at the heart of what I do, and I understand how daunting it may be to reach out for help and allow someone into your life. To me empathy lead care is all about helping you to feel safe and valued in your own home / care setting whilst empowered and in control of your life. I believe it it important to have fun and enjoy yourself and respect each other for who we are.
It is important to me that we work together, in unity, and by doing so I am able to help you to make the most of each day, by supporting you with compassion and kindness to achieve your goals. Some of the things I may be able to support you with include, light housework, getting out and about, managing appointments and meal prep. But I am not just here for everyday tasks, I am able to offer companionship, feet, leg, arm and hand massage, chair exercises and help with taking part in hobbies / activities, interests, outings and much more .
My time in care has allowed me to gain knowledge and experience in providing dementia support and non-medical care end of life care. It would be an honour to me to support you or your loved one.
