Description

Hello my name is Harriett. I have a NVQ level 3 in health and social care. I have 7 years experience as a health care assistant, a domiciliary carer, complex carer and rehabilitation assistant. I have always had a passion for helping people and love going above and beyond for the people in my care, making sure they are safe and have a good quality of life.

I have worked in care homes, clinical settings, and cared for my clients in their own homes.
I have a lot of experience with general elderly care, dementia, mental health, substance abuse, and challenging behaviour.

My area of expertise is rehabilitation. I enjoyed being a rehabilitation assistant working with the NHS supporting clients after a hospital stay to move back into their homes. I would assess them and work with them to set goals with the intention of gaining confidence and independence.

I would support clients with physio exercises to improve overall mobility and strengthen targeted areas depending on each individual.

I have completed a wide variety of mandatory training courses to maintain my skills, knowledge and experience and keep up to date so I remain to be safe and professional.
I enjoy making people as comfortable as possible and making sure they live a good life as well as providing a high standard of care and emotional support.

I am willing to offer personal care, catheter care, medication administration, meal preparation, general personal assistance eg. shopping, cleaning and laundry
