Description
I have worked in the care industry for over 25 years including Social Services, private organisations and a care agency, before becoming a self employed carer around 14 years ago. I provide all aspects of personal care including catheter and stoma care, showering, shaving, finger nails and many more. I’ve also been trained to use a peristeen and peg feeding. As part of my current weekly work I assist with exercises to help my clients maintain their level of health and movement by using Motomed cycle, Vibrostation machine and tilt table. Through my clients physiotherapists I have learnt how to apply gentle stretches to arms/hands, legs/feet and body. I am also a qualified Reflexologist. I am a great believer in enabling individuals to reach their full potential, however small that may be.
