Hi, my name is Mike, and I am a sole trader based in Yeovil. I offer a range of personalised and individually tailored social and practical supports to vulnerable adults who may need that little bit of extra help.
I have 30 years’ experience of supporting people, for the past 10 years as a qualified mental health nurse.
During my career I have predominantly worked in the health care sector private and NHS. I have gained experience and knowledge within Elderly Care, Dementia Care, Palliative care, residential and supported living, supporting adults with Autism and Adults with Learning Disabilities. I have various qualifications relating to the care field also certificates to evidence my mental health training, portfolio available on initial assessment.
The range of services and support I can provide to you or your family member in their own home or in the community such as helping with managing with household chores, assisting with Shopping or accompanying and Accessing community facilities. Transport accompaniment to appointments medication support, Respite time for family members, Personal care, trips out on a 1 to 1 basis, and other tasks these can be discussed depending on what support and enablement you need.
The support on offer from myself weekdays and the occasional evening and weekend basis if the need arises. I can work with people who have personal budgets and people who finance their own support.
