My name is Lisa Jarvis and I am the owner of Person Support.
I am a wife and a busy mother of three boys, and I love it. Family and people are very important to me, and that’s why I am a Micro provider.
My career has varied from 18 years in Pharmacy and management, to School Matron, Support Worker, Outreach for a Homeless Charity and Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker. I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist and am finishing 3 years of a counselling course. In all of my positions I have always worked with a person-centred approach. I get the most job satisfaction with meeting and helping people.
I believe that we all need support from time to time and having people around us to help in whatever capacity, is a human need, that can make a big difference to the quality of someone’s life. I feel privileged that I can do this as a job and for that reason I will support you in anyway I can to enable you to enjoy your independence, assist with your way of living, provide company and emotional support as well as help with day-to-day chores and errands. I am happy to sit and read or watch T.V with you and I am just as happy to plan or execute goals or challenges you may have. Human to human, I am there for you.
My role in your life, is in your control. Whatever that may involve, it is important to me that you can trust me. Communication is key and I am always open to discuss anything you may have concerns about. I am non judgemental and understand we all have differences. If I can do anything to accommodate any concerns worries or requests, I will do my best with your best interest at heart and with confidentiality.
