Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a micro provider in Wells. I first wanted to become a micro provider as I had my own family taking care of me a few years ago after having my spleen removed. This involved administering my medication, personal care and helping me with tasks around the home (including walking my dog). I was so grateful for that help as I lived alone at that time and could never have managed without the care. A few years later, I supported my mother in my father’s end of life care. I realised how important my role was to the family and my father’s dignity. Since then, I have worked as a micro provider in Somerset. My roles are varied and include companionship, support with trips away from the home and general errands. I have had a few clients with dementia who I chat to and support to cope in their own homes. I also do personal care to aid hospital recovery or independent living. I am happy to do light cleaning and any tasks that make life easier and more manageable.
Times available
I am available Monday to Friday in the mornings and afternoons. I am also available two evenings a week
