My name is Sarah; I am the sole trader of Sarahs Care & Home Services. With 30 years of experience of working in a diverse range of social care settings, 22 years of which was for Somerset County Council, Social Services, I have taken the decision to move my career forward, and be part of the wider community. Sarahs Care & Home services aims to make a positive difference to support and care delivered in the wider community, I feel passionately, that with my experience, knowledge, commitment, reliability and willingness to go the extra mile, I can make that positive difference. I understand how difficult things can be especially during these unfamiliar times, the feeling of loneliness, isolation, and how hard it might be to let a carer into your home, share your personal details and your private concerns. I will always respect you, your privacy/ dignity and confidentiality. Along with this I will build relationships with those people who are important to you, while always listening to you, promising that you will always lead the way. The Services that I offer Personal Care Support with shopping Meal preparation including Dysphagia diets Sitting services/ over night stays Help with pets Dogs and Cats Social outings, which I am happy to use my own car for. Gardening/decorating helping you in a way, which works for you. Please feel free to ask if there is something that you require not listed above.
Training includes, Advanced medication, Dysphagia, Moving and Handling, Epilepsy awareness, Food hygiene. NVQ level 3 promoting independence Counselling level 3 The minimum time slot you can book me is 1 hour; my working times are flexible, between 7am & 9pm, with some weekend availability.
