My name is Zoe Ridler
I live in the Village of Horton in Somerset with my husband and two dogs. We have 4 adult children between us and 1 gorgeous grandson..
I have worked within the Disabilities Service for over 30 years.
My experience covers
working with Children and Young People with Additional Needs/Disabilities and/ Complex Needs in both Specialist School settings and Residential Care.
My roles have included managing sessional workers to support children with disabilities in their own homes as well as accessing their local community.
I lead Clubs and Activities across the County of Somerset, as well as support and signpost families to make them aware of what support is available to them in Somerset.
I work well on my own and I am a good team player.
I have worked with varying other Professionals and Providers throughout my career to overcome any potential barriers to social inclusion across Somerset, always having a person-centred approach in all that I do.
I am a Shared Lives Carer- offering respite within my own home to Clients in Somerset/ Devon.
I am passionate about, a person centred approach offering the highest possible standard of care and support to each and everyone, working towards social inclusion for everyone within the local community regardless of their individual support needs.
I am a kind, caring professional who is a good listener and communicator.
I am committed and conscientious in my work and approach to supporting others, helping them feel appreciated and valued, whilst encouraging them to feel supported in achieving their goals and aspirations.
