We came together with curiosity, warmth, and a good dose of creativity (your rich pictures were brilliant!) to start shaping a shared vision for how we can support families in Bridgwater differently.

Together, we:

  • Created visual stories of what support should feel like
  • Identified community safety and knowledge/education as top shared priorities
  • Opened the conversation about how relationships, trust and connection can help people thrive

This next session is about building on those foundations. We’ll keep exploring how we can work side by side, not in silos, to create something that feels human, local, and genuinely helpful to families.

Why does this matter?

Because if we can change the terms of reference for how families see themselves and what’s possible, we make it far more likely that they will feel confident, connected, and able to live more fulfilling lives. This is bigger than any one organisation—it’s about all of us, together.

If you feel like someone was missing last time—maybe a colleague, another organisation, or someone with lived experience—please do forward this invite. The more voices, the stronger this work will be.

Thank you for everything you’ve contributed so far. It’s your openness, ideas and generosity that make this work possible.
