Reach Alternative Education would like to invite you to pop in and meet their community youth work provision within South Petherton. We are aware Youth Work is a hot topic within local communities at the moment, and they felt it maybe helpful for them to share their current work, ethos, premises and vision in South Petherton.
The evening will enable you to come and view the centre as well as spend time with both youth work staff and leadership colleagues. Both will be able provide info on the current management partnership of youth & community work in South Petherton, also the direct delivery of a wide range of opportunities for young people including centre-based provision, targeted youth work to hard to reach and SEND young people, multi agency working including on welfare and safeguarding, outreach work including their mobile unit, community projects, family work and trips (including their international work taking young people to Thailand). They also hope to have a couple of young people who they hope can talk about their experience of youth work in the area.
The event will be held on Thursday 24th July from 5.30 – 7pm. South Petherton Youth Centre, Lightgate Lane, South Petherton, TA13 5AU.
Parking is at the South Petherton recreational ground car park. Refreshments will be available.
